Tour de France fever is taking over.
Cavendish (HTC - Highroad) took first spot today after a wild and windy 5th Stage, with Welsh man Geraint Thomas (Team Sky) not far behind in fifth. Team Sky leader Bradley Wiggins got caught in a 10 man crash on a day when a number of podium chasing riders suffered collisions. But Team Sky mechanics and riders worked well to ensure Wiggins is only 10 minutes off the lead in sixth place.
